Information & Statistics Division
à Preparing statistical studies and researches for our authority work and activities
à Selecting the literature covering the peaceful uses of nuclear
science and technology produced and published in Egypt
à Preparing the inputs of relevant journals, conferences,
reports, books and thesis and submitting them to the IAEA in Vienna
à Forwarding full text of literature not available commercially (NCL) as hard copy or in electronic form
à Providing search services using databases as INIS database on CD-ROM or on the internet
à Training INIS staff and users from inside and outside the
authority
à Marketing INIS products and services
à Collecting and analyzing data from various departments.
à System design for automating the authority department.
à Implementing the required database.
à Managing and maintaining the applied databases.
à Designing brochures, flyers and pamphlets concerning the authority activities.
à Designing and implementing the authority web pages.
à Organizing continuous training courses in various fields for the authority members to develop their skills
à Organizing scientific conferences and fairs .
Scientific Publish Division
à Issue publication about NIDC activities in English
and Arabic languages
à Publishing the abstracts ,translated articles ,periodicals,
,studies ,booklets and scientific papers belonging to the EAEA.
à Issue a booklet containing the scientific papers achieved during the year.
à Submitting the achieved scientific papers for acceptance by the Publishing Committee.
à Establishing database containing the scientific articles accepted by Publishing Committee.
Decision Support Division
à Collecting data and information which serve the authority to provide the managers with the best information to make the best decision .
à Study and classify the authority problems.
à Design the best solution for each problem to support decision maker .
à Improve the ways of decision making by building a decision support system and updating it by using models.
à Following up the decision execution and its results.
